Electrician

Duration: 2 Year                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Eligibility: 10th with Math & Science

On completion of the course the trainee shall have through knowledge of design and laying of wiring of domestic and commercial building. He shall have full knowledge of power generation, transmission and distribution system, insulator earthing, power house, light arrestor, reactor and capacitors in circuit used in electrical installation. Construction of different types of batteries and preparing electrolytes used in it. Servicing and repairing of table fan, ceiling fan, exhaust fan, hair dryer, mixer motors, pump, generator, transformers and relays used in AC/DC circuit. He shall be able to, design prepare panel boards used for industries/workshop. Detect fault in different type of AC and DC starter and motor timer used in factories and workshop and connect different type of measuring instrument on the panel boards. He shall be expert in hadn winding and machine winding of transformers, fields coils of DC motors, rewinding of armature startor winding bell/Buzzer/NVC, OLC of DC starter.

Magnestism General concept of Electrical Machine Sketching of D.C.- 4 Points starter to scale D.C motors, Electric Wiring, Measurement of energy in single & poly-phase circuits, Identification of types of transformers. Demostraction on alternators, Study of - M.C.P.M Meter, Multi-Meter etc. Installation of -Neon Sign, Mercury Vapour.

Practice on wiring of electric motor, control panel, etc. Practice of fixing lightening arrestors and lightening conductors, Horn gap. Wiring of elctric motors, control panel etc.

Career Prospectus:

Can work as a Lineman, Wireman, Maintenance electrician, Electrical suprevisor, Electrical contractor, expert rewinder, lab technician, electrical maintenance Forman in Pvt. sector industries and Govt. sector. He can be a contractor of domestic wiring and industrial wiring and hotels. He shall be able to run his own electrical workshop and take up oil filtration of transformer on lines. Setup own shop for rewinding of different types of AC/DC motors, generator & transformers, Panel board wiring busbar wiring and measuring instrument wiring.
